Yesterday, it was revealed that U.S. Junior Elite, Caitlin Smith, has verbally committed to the LSU Lady Tigers gymnastics program for the 2019-20 school year.
Smith, who trains at Paramount Elite Gymnastics, has been an elite gymnast for the past two elite seasons, advancing to Secret Classic in 2014 and 2015. Last night, Paramount Elite posted the announcement on their Facebook page; attatched with a photo of Caitlin wearing a LSU sweatshirt.
The 15-year old joins Floridian elite/Level 10 gymnast Bailey Ferrer in LSU's 2019-20 incoming recruits class. For now, Smith is likely to continue on with elite, in an attempt to make the National Team.
Texas Dreams junior elite and U.S. Junior National Team member, Ragan Smith, has been on an unofficial visit to the University of Florida this past weekend.
The 15-year old, who lives in Coppell, Tex., uploaded an image on her Instagram account which shows her doing the well-known 'gator chomp' whilst on a visit to the school. The ninth grader, who placed third at the past P&G Nationals, is wasting no time in the college recruitment process — as this her second school visit in a week following last week's visit to joint 2014 National Champion school, University of Oklahoma.
